BMW Down Pipes for the X5 or X6 SUV 5 ,6 and 7 series cars. Pipe Diameter is 74mm or 2.92″ to 2.5″.
Pipes made of T304 SS. 2 O2 Bungs.
A downpipe directs the exhaust gases from your vehicle’s turbine housing into your exhaust system. The downpipe bolts right to the turbine housing. It is instrumental in moving the exhaust gases through the system as efficiently as possible. The average downpipe has at least one restrictive catalytic converter.
On a turbocharged vehicle, a downpipe is a part of the exhaust system that connects the turbo exit to the catalytic converter. … While it’s generally accepted that installing a downpipe will add “just” 15 to 25 horsepower, that gain is noticeable anytime the turbo is engaged. It adds up to a big increase in performance

BMW made 2 different down pipe connections: flange and slip fit.
Before purchasing you need to verify which connection you have.
Look underneath your car where the down pipe connects to the exhaust and see if you have a bolt together flange or slip fit with compression clamp. This model is for bolt together flange connection.
